Vietnamese lotus tea smells so relaxing. I love to have it ice cold on a hot day! Lotus tea bags and candied lotus seeds are available at Asian grocery stores. You can also use roasted peanuts instead of candied lotus seeds.
This recipe reminds me of a little chai stand I came across when I traveled in Jaipur, India. Their spicy masala chai was the best I'd ever had! I really miss the chai stand and the exotic atmosphere of the beautiful Indian pink city.
