Molasses Ginger Cookies are one of my favorites, especially at the Christmas holiday. I've made these cookies so many times over the years. I make them for my Dad, who also loves molasses cookies. I have wonderful memories of my Mom baking when I was a child. She was the inspiration for this illustration to go with my cookie recipe.
I created this right after watching Salli's Webinar! I wanted to try a simple recipe to get started. It really fun to do and maybe a bit addicting so now I'm on the lookout for more brownie recipes because next to lemon squares, nothing beats a brownie to brighten up my day!
I spend a lot of time baking and that mostly comes from my mother. Every year she buys me weird cookie cutter shapes and my favorite has been a unicorn! I love sugar cookies because they're very customizable and fun!

Kolacky is a Polish cookie which my mom, sister, and I bake during the holidays. I wanted to convey a sense of warmth and lightheartedness in this recipe so the viewer could feel the mood in my mom's kitchen while we bake these delicious cookies!
