- Smodde & Knieperkes is an old recipe from the "Achterhoek", Gelderland. On the background you can see my hometown "Zutphen". The little boat in the river "IJssel" has the flag of my town. The kite in the sky is a symbole for the "Gelderse Roos" (Guelder Rose) from the Gelders lanschap (Guelder Trust).
