I'm sorry to be a doofus .. it looks like 3 c sugar and 1 cup flour?? Would anyone interpret another way? Many thanks!
Betsey...I see your confusion! I think she is showing 2 cups of sugar (by labeling them 1 and 2) not 3 cups. I did a quick google check on one bowl brownies and 2 c. sugar and 1 c. flour are pretty standard measurements. does that help?

Sorry for the confusion. it does call for 2 cups of flour and one cup of sugar. I was attempting to limit myself to visual directions but a few extra words might have helped.
