I recently has the pleasure of taking a holiday in Scotland and was lucky enough to tour a whiskey distillery and learn all about scotch. The most interesting part of the trip was being served whiskey porridge the next morning! I couldn't believe how the whiskey brought out the sweetness of the raisins and intensified the flavor. I'm absolutely hooked on this breakfast treat! Tip: start with a few splashes and add sweetener of choice to balance it out :)
