TDAC Fan Nysa Wong Kline was inspired by Jackie Mancuso's recipe for Robin's Fig Tart and cooked up her own version. Here are some helpful hints and suggestions from Nysa: "Cook for twice as long (1 hour), use a lot less sugar (I used 1/2 cup instead but would use even less next time). The primal almond meal & coconut oil crust works well - here is the crust recipe I used: http://www.marksdailyapple.com/primal-pies-fill-er-up/. The verdict: Delicious, marzipany, sweet fresh fig jam, almondy crust."
