Artist Nessa Guillet says this about her recipe for Galette des Rois : "The Galette Des Rois is one of my all time favorite treats! When I was little I couldn't wait for the patisseries to fill their windows full of them in January. The tradition of the Fève (porcelain figure) was such a fun way to get children involved with this holiday. Whoever found the Fève in their cake slice would get to be king for the day (and wear the golden crown of course)! Now remember, when serving it, do eat it warm....it brings out the yummy flavors of the almonds. Bonne appetite."
