We are so happy to have a collection of recipes curated by Jo Packham who is the creator/editor in chief of 2 magazines: Where Women Cook
and Where Women Create
. She just happened to feature Salli in the February issue so it's perfect timing to have a curated collection from her! Also, thanks to Jo for giving TDAC a column in every issue of Where Women Cook.
Here are a few words from Jo after making her collection, "I want to say thank you for allowing me to be a small part of what all of you and Salli have created. You are an inspiration on so many levels ... starting at the kitchen table and coming back again and again. I have sat down several times to make my selections for this post and I want you all to know that it was a very difficult task ... for so many reasons. But first and foremost because I love your recipes and I am inspired by your art. It was an "aha" moment for me when I completed my selection and posted them all together to see exactly what could be considered my personal favorites. And that is what they are, personal, because all of you who are part of They Draw & Cook appeal to a certain foodie, a certain creative soul, a certain aesthetic. I was surprised to find that I really must like everything on my shelves, on my table, and on my "favorites" list to be pretty, organized in its own aesthetic, and above all inspiring. I would make these dishes for my family on Sunday, which is our special day, I would cover my walls with your art, and I will tell "everyone" what an honor it is to work with so many who can create so much."
