Bio:

Graduated in Graphic Design at the Federal University of Santa Catarina, in 2005, received her master's degree in Media Communication (FAAC-UNESP) in 2009 and, currently, is a PHD student in the Department of Design, at the Federal University of Pernambuco. Spent a year as a Doctorate exchange student at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona - UAB, developing a research in LAICOM (Laboratorio de Análisis Instrumental de la Comunicación). Her undergraduate studies focused on Editorial Design, her master research was based on Culture Semiotics, focused on the sensitive interface of photographic image, and during her PHD is focusing on Information Design, related to the connections between design and education, sequential illustration and children reception. Has work experience in Visual Communication, especially Graphic Design an Illustration. Has worked as a graphic designer in promotional marketing, communication, publicity and design enterprises.
